The rainy days are coming and summer is coming to a close. These coming weeks will leave me very busy and thus, it's time to put that summer reading list aside. I laid out a list of 20 books at the beginning. I read 15. Not bad. This breaks my previous record of 9. Anyway, I just copied the list here since I'm clearing out that widget off
me.asia (this is my shorthand for my official blog). I loved each one and I'll be reviewing them soon.
- "Genghis: Lords of the Bow" by Conn Iggulden
- "Common Wealth" by Jeffrey Sachs
- "Three Trillion Dollar War" by Joseph Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes
- "State of Denial" by Bob Woodward
- "Fiasco" by Thomas Ricks
- "The Next Attack" by Daniel Benjamin and Steven Simon
- "Terror in the Name of God" by Jessica Stern
- "What do Terrorists Want" by Louise Richardson
- "White Man's Burden" by William Easterly
- "In the Age of Turbulence" by Alan Greenspan
- "The Assault on Reason" by Al Gore
- "Invincible" by Troy Denning
- "Empire Rising" by Sam Barone
- "Globalization and Its Discontents" by Joseph Stiglitz
- "Making Globalization Work" by Joseph Stiglitz
By the way, I'll be posting more here (I know I've said this for the nth time). To help make sure this happens, I've closed off martinperez.wordpress.com
for now. I'll come back to that blog eventually. I figured that Multiply is a great way to keep in touch with everyone since updates get delivered straight to you. I find that EVENT feature cool and so I'll be using this more often in my new capacity as batch adviser.
