These are the songs I expected from Chris Daughtry when I first heard him sing Hemorrhage in AI5. I hope his second album goes more in this direction; not the pop drivel we were all fed in the first.

Chris's vocals in "The Past" are awesome. The best I've heard from him. As for "By the Way", he says he just co-wrote the song. But if I'm hearing it right, that's him doing back-up vocals.
